MJF Update

FINALLY got my hands on a copy of Always Looking Up! I am about 20 pages in and already loving it :) I might have to buy myself both books (then number 3 coming soon! )
Ahh, i've been youtube-ing all the Vancouver stuff he did for the Olympics, gotta say I love the ice hockey commercial (Watch it NOW!) , he has still got it, and we love him for it.

Been having a bit of a Michael J Fox Marathon (now theres an idea Gormagon...) Watching BTTF Part 3 yesterday instead of doing biology study and then watching Part 1 in my study period today, best use I have found my iPod yet.
I think I might get Teen Wolf out from the Civic this weekend, be the best hangover cure for sunday, that and bacon and spinich sandwiches.

I'm desperately trying to get my friends to read his books, they are honestly quite moving, and its not just because he is one of my favourite actors, its because he is one of the most inspirational people in the world. I truly feel like everything he writes about overcoming this disease can be applied to so many situations, even the titles of the two biographies, Lucky Man and " policy, even the second or third. And what a huge obstacle Parkinson's Disease is.
Maybe Michael J Fox's books will be my new bibles, how I approach life and look at oppourtunities.

What would MJF do?

Plus, he is a cutie.

Formal season ladies!

As part of the Y13 Social Committee at my school, we have the BEST pleasure (oo-er) of organizing our school Formal for this year! Honestly, that is like me in a nutshell :D

So naturally, as I have the best dressmaker in the world for a Mum, the dress preparations have already begun!

Being well me, i've chosen 1950s as my theme, and red as my colour scheme, since I can't imagine myself wearing any other colour :) I hunted down this gorgeous pattern at Fabric Vision the past weekend, and if you can imaging the black bodice with a GIANT ballroom skirt in a delicious deep red, you pretty much have my [ideal, yet actual] dress :)

I'm thinking best dressed?

I'll of course have my elbow length gloves, pearls and curly up-do. And whomever I take, will have the matching red bowtie to finish up our attire.

The girls and I want to do the whole pre-drinkies and all get a Limo to the place etc, and then the required piss-up at the 'forbidden' afterparty.

Yay for being a senior!
